“All I ever wanted to do is make a difference in a child’s life. That’s why I continued my education and received my Ph.D. and EJD to become a well-rounded special educator. I’m focused on holistic child development because I want all children to succeed academically and socially.

My work has centered around using a multi-sensory approach with computers to help students learn. As an education specialist supporting clients internationally who are seeking materials to help their struggling readers, and children who are dyslexic, I became aware of the impending demand for highly trained professionals to help reach children and adults who struggle to learn and retain information. This need bore my dyslexia language therapy business.

I instantly connected with my students as I experienced firsthand the pain, stigma, and challenges that learning differences can bring to a person's daily life. Personally, I struggled with a lifetime of learning differences that affected my ability to read, write, spell, and process information.

To ensure that I was providing the best learning experience, I trained and got my certification from the LEAD (Literacy Education and Academic Development) Center and became an Accredited Dyslexia Language Therapist.

My background and training gave me the motivation and determination to try every possible course of action to equip struggling readers and children who are dyslexic and adults with the right tools so they can acquire new knowledge.
