What We Offer
Here at Pretty Pearl, we use multi-sensory strategies to help struggling readers. Pretty Pearl provides a tutoring intervention service in which I help students who struggle with basic reading, reading comprehension, phonological awareness, morphological awareness, alphabet, dictionary, grammar, listening comprehension, and basic math skills who struggle with learning in school. Our educational intervention services are available in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in Texas as well as Virtually.
We:
* Help struggling readers to read for comprehension using the PROVS strategy and understanding with fluency.
* Help struggling mathematicians apply the SMART Strategy to solve the equation with 100% accuracy EVERYTIME.
* In Addition: We offer Literary Classes for Children and Adults To teach how to read and how to read to learn as we develop our comprehension and writing skills to communicate effectively one-on-one or small group sessions.

Service Overview
We offer face-to-face and virtual dyslexia language therapy services. We utilize the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is effective when teaching reading, writing, and spelling to struggling readers and dyslexics. All sessions are conducted through a HIPAA-compliant online platform, Zoom.
Procedure:
Consultation
Enrollment -Develop and sign our learning experience contract
In the first session, we’ll conduct the phonological awareness test 2 to determine your phonological and phonemic strengths and weaknesses.
The test results are then compiled in a report. In the second session, we’ll discuss the results of the report with you so you’ll know where in our scope and sequence we will begin our learning experience sessions.
After sharing the results, we’ll officially begin our dyslexia learning experience sessions.

Due to COVID-19, Dyslexia Sessions are offered virtually by appointment and are 60 Minutes.
In-Person & Virtual Sessions
This option is being provided because Dyslexia Sessions need to be four days a week and sessions are necessary so that progress can be made.

Surveys
Surveys can be taken by the computer. Just click on the tab and you can begin the survey. Results of the survey are sent to me. From this data, a starting point is annotated and services can begin.
